Meditation for all Levels! Join us and get your meditation groove on with Sarah McLean, a popular meditation and mindfulness teacher who offers a community meditation and mindfulness program at Montecito Meditation. 1801 E Cabrillo Blvd Suite G, Santa Barbara. Held from 10:00 – 11:00 am,  explore meditation and mindfulness and be expertly guided into a practice that you can take home with you. Each session, a variety of meditation practices will be discussed and you’ll learn secrets to making meditation your friend. No experience is necessary to attend. Sarah McLean is an avid explorer who’s been seeking the secrets to living a meaningful life since she was a child. In her 20s she went on a 9 month exploration, traveling thousands of miles on her bicycle from Europe into the Middle East, and then into Asia. She returned only to find what she was looking for while sitting still with her eyes closed in a meditation class: that’s when she found peace, inspiration, and a sense of connection to something bigger, and she wanted to explore more.

She soon met Deepak Chopra and was mentored by him for eight years, while serving as the program director for his mind/body health center in Southern California. Later, Sarah took a two year sabbatical to immerse herself in contemplative practices and lived in a traditional ashram in India and then as a Zen Buddhist lay monk in a remote monastery. She meditated and wrote, and became a best-selling Hay House author whose work has been featured in the Prevention Magazine, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, The Guardian, and Fox Health News. She is the director of the Meditation Teacher Academy and has mentored hundreds of meditation teachers all over the world.
